Not sure what the last sentence in the review meant.

Thanks for reading. Good comment and perhaps I should have developed that point further. When I wrote it, I was reflecting on how China's cleaning up of its pollution and high carbon issues, might hold lessons for the rest of the world, especially now that China is seen by some countries as a model for development. As I put it in the review, China ultimately chartered in its own path in grappling with development and environmental issues, and to a certain degree, this incentivised the rise of pollution control (scrubbers, deSOX, deNoX), carbon control technology (more efficient coal plants), and energy pathway switching (coal -> RE). Now that it has dominance in RE, EVs, Batteries and other green technologies - it is, in my opinion, in a position to help other countries decarbonize and reduce local pollution impacts. Take for example, the huge take up of distributed PV in Pakistan ((https://carbon-pulse.com/404864/), due to the falling costs of the components which came as a result of Chinese production. So if China is in this position, how might it navigate this new found leadership position, as a producer, investor and lender in these global cleaner, lower carbon goods. Thanks again for your comment.
