Iceland *is* wonderful! I’ve been twice and am trying to figure out a way to live there for a year (maybe as a student of Icelandic textiles?). I hope you get to go back.
Did you make any polish friend? They are the largest minority group in Iceland.
I chatted amiably with a Polish guy yesterday. I saw that there are Polish language masses at the Catholic Church there too!
